We received a free 2 day free hotel stay from a business. On May 29th I sent in the paperwork w/a $50. Refundable deposit. Had to pick 3 choices, 1st, 2nd & 3rd for July. My husband put in for days off. We then waited & nothing, I called & called toll calls & got answ machines that sd open at 9 when it was 9:07! The rest of the time it was busy.
I finally got someone on June 30th who informed me we were to go on the 1st & to the 3rd choice. I sd we had nothing to show this & was never informed. He sd he thought they sent an email (meanwhile my computer had crashed) The 1st came & went & no vacation, just wasted days off.
I wrote a letter to the president & told him what a mess it was for us, I sd we sent everything in in May & heard nothing & also didn't see why we had to take the 3rd choice. I told him I wanted our $50. Back & that it was a terrible way to do business.
I never got a response, letter or call from him. Finally I had to call the business who gave it to me (they were very upset) & helped me get the $50. Back. Terrible customer service, thats for sure & they should have a better way of notifying customers besides email!
