While on vacation is Orlando with my family, I was approach by a representative from Westgate Vacation condos. He ask if we were interested in some discount Disney tickets. After we responded yes, he offered us a discount of about $30 dollars off the ticket prices in return for 90 minutes of our time on a timeshare tours the next day. Since we had prevously owned a timshare through Fairfields, we decided to go and see what Westgate had to offer. Opon arrival at 10:00 AM, we had to sit and wait for almost an hour. Finally a sales rep comes in a talk to us for almost another 30 mins. When he took us into another room to sit at a table, he informed us that our 90 min tour is starting now. After sitting for two hours we told him we were ready to go and did not want to purchase a timeshare with them, he took us on a tour of the complex for another 30 mins. When we still refuse to purchase, he sent us to his manager. The manager told us that he will let us go, but wanted to offer us a vacation for next year. The vacation included a 2 bedroom condo for 3 nights for almost $700 dollars. The deal sound okay, but we were restless, tired and ready to continue our vacation, so we told him that it would be another 8 days before we returned home and wanted to look over the offer. He said "make the purchase today and I will throw in tickets for $10 a piece and free meals"."If you decide to cancel, all you got to do is call and we will refund your money right away" he added, so we purchase it. Two days later when we found time to read over the vacation deal, we found major flaws in what he told us and the truth, so we called to cancel. We was told by the operator that we could cancel but we had to send a letter in, well as soon a we made it back home, we sent the letter, but was told a few days later that we only had ten days from purchase date to cancel. Now we have a negative marking on our credit report plus creditors calling all the time to collect over $1000 for something we never recieved. Westgate Is a trick and a trap, Avoid them at all cost
