A while back i received a call from e-tour and travel and they appeared to be training an individual to sale thier packages and it was made obvious on the phone while trying to sell me the package that the one lady was to be in training and the other lady — of which was not on the phone during the whole sales pich only when needed from the trainee... - well, atleast i thought that was the case.
I was played for a fool and have now paid over $400 for a package i never did get to use and now the time is lapsed and i disregarded the whole situation and ended up paying for a vacation package of over $400 for something i never used one bit of.
Now they are calling me and offering me another package.
The original request was to be able to purchase a rental car from up here in gainesville to take where ever i wished within florida for 1 week solid not split up days that would equal the time rented to be 1 week. I asked them if i could purchase the rental up in gainesville and beable to drive it down to orlando to epcot, etc. And bring it back to gainesville rental office when my rental time was due to turn it in. At first the trainee said no and then the lady that was supposably training this girl said oh yes you can rent it from gainesville mam. I told the trainer lady that i realized she was obviously training someone but i didn't want there to be any misunderstanding between us and that i wanted the both of the ladies to realize i wouldn't want to purchase this package if i can not get the rental car from gainesville and bring it back to gainesville afterwards. She said she understood and that i would beable to purchase it from gainesville and they would honor my request with no problem.
Three weeks later i received my package and it was a 15 day cancellation period on the package. Well, i then was told i couldn't even get a rental till i went down to universal orlando area to purchase my rental because this was the only place they rent the vehicles from and return them to this same place. (orlando area only)
I then called them and explained just this to one of thier representatives and they told me my time to cancel had already lapsed and there was nothing they could do about it but offer me an "arabian nite dinner club pass in lue of the deal with the rental car. I am not interested at this time and after all the hassle and b.S. Dished to me - i ever seeing an arabian nite dinner club show. What ever. They said sorry mam that is all we can offer and you can't cancel your order because the time period to cancel all this order had passed. And they acted like i did them wrong!!! By not cancelling in time when i never even had the mercandise through the mail for two days is all i had it at home with me after recieving it and went right away to cancel and this is the b.S. I heard!
They never once tried to settle it and make a happy customer out of me or make a reasonable offer that was even trying to meet me half way. They just passed the buck on to another agent and had me on a wild goose chase only to get more frustrated and upsed with thier confussion they created and unfairness in the way they conducte themselves. It was less than honest, professional conduct and they never did act honestly upon which actions they deceived me purposely i feel from the start.
Now they call and want to make another offer for the same $400 package now for "only" another $99!! I asked how they could do the same package for $99 and please send me some information once again after now you have totally ripped me off and let me know just exactly what you are trying to offer me at this time now after the b.S. From last time i wanted to see what it was i was going to be purchasing for now another $99 almost two years later. They told me they could only explain it over the phone and i could write it down but there was no way they could send me out another discriptive c.D. As they did rpior to this offer which would show me exactly what i was getting suckered into this time.
They were very short, rude and unprofessional people.
I would never purchasee one thing through these people. They are all cheats and liers and i have no respesct for this company or its individual workers.
They are a pure example of the reason for all the distrust and dishonesty there is in the world today!
It's a shame to me that we can't function in this world without people havng thier guard up over anyone of anything any longer but it is due to con artist and scam companies like this one that the world i falling apart bit by bit.
Take my word for it they are not going to make it right with you no matter if you just now got 'suckered" in to thier web or if you are still trying to get out of thier web. One thing is its not you getting stuck into a "web" of thiers its thier kind that are going to have to pay for it in the long run!
Stay clear of this deception if you know whats good for your pocket book! They will eat you up if you give them the chance.
