A couple of years ago i entered into a drawing and i received a call saying that i had won and they needed my account # and they told me about the package he said that they were going to send me out the package through the mail.
The trip was a 7 night vacation to Orlando and Dayton Beach Florida. Free car rental and 7 night stay in a four Star hotel. Meals and spending money the price was $399 for four people and I said this sound good so send me the info.
But she insisted that in order to save the spot that I had to give them an account number I was aware of these type of scams so I gave them an account number of an account that I knew was closed.
So she said that there will be no chargers made unless Icalled to confirm. I never received a package and thought no more about it. Then i received a letter from Citizen back saying that i had a negative balance of $400 plus dollars. They didn't know where the money went to it is now on my credit report.
So I have started to receive call again from them saying that I my account has expried but thry are willing to renew it for a one time fee of $48 they can charge it to the same account they still have it on file. I told them that i never brought any package and if i was charged for one then send me the info. Once again they didn't.
So today I received another call sayingthe same thing only this time the fee was $99. So I asked her why would one person tell me one thing then you tell me another price. She says that he must have made a mistake with the pricing.
So i said why is it that you would want me to give you money on something that you can't show me proof of? So she directed me to the web site http://www.etourandtravel.com/index.php which still gives you very little information. So she out me on hold and I hung up. I then googled them and it was a scam alert on the company so right now i am waiting for them to call me back so that i can get some names.
