I called on Sunday around 8:15 for a tow to get my car out of my driveway. My driveway is a slant and because of the ice, the car will not leave the driveway. I have tried various methods to get the car out but no luck. I called AAA, which I have been a member since 1995. My membership number is 438 215 192280720 2. I called 502-423-8222 and I was told that they are backlogged with tows and would not be able to tow my car out of my driveway. AAA was not doing any home removals. Louisville has had a severe ice storm and snow storm last week with many cars in need of tow. If I ask for service, I would except AAA to give me a tow regardless of where my car is home or not. She said I could call form my service and get reimbursed my AAA. The lady also said that I could call in the morning.
Why do I have roadside assistance when they can be helpful?
