I purcahsed two packages form this company and was mislead from the very beginning. After i recieved the packages and read them over i called malcom sweat to discuss some inconsistancies. He told me that there were'nt any discripencies and i must have misunderstood what he said. I then asked how do i cancel this package and get my money back. He explained that i only had five days after the transaction date to cancel even though it took about two weeks to recieve the package in the mail. I was told that i didnt need passports which at that time i did, there would be a $59pp port charge but i was later told this was only for four people, i had to pay $99/$129pp for the extra people, tips and gratuities only applied to adults which was not true and that i would recieve 2 theme park tickets along with 2 passes for the jungle queen and a 7 day rental car per package. Needless to say this was not the case. When i arrived in florida i was informed that i would only recieve two theme park tickets and a rental car. The other two theme park tickets and the passes for the jungle queen i was promissed were exchanged for the car and the two tickets that i was already recieving. I was then informed that i had to do a 120 minute presentation on the following day which i had no knowledge of. My husband and i attended the presentation since it was clear we had no other choice. When we arrived at port everglades for the cruise portion of the trip, i was informed there would be a $20pp gartuitie charge and a $30pp fuel surcharge. I tried explaing to them that i was told the gratuitie charge only applied to the adults, which it was only two in my party. And i had no knowledge of a fuel surcharge. There was no mention of this in my contract i was given thus mentioned via telephone or on the companies website. The agent explained to me that the company was well aware of these charges and i should have been informed of this. She then stated i could choose not to take the cruise but i would not recieve a refund. The ship we boarded was a disgrace! This was not the "luxery liner" that i was promised nor recieved pictures of. Malcom, originally told me that i would be cruising on the imperial majesty which is one of the best ocean liners there is, but we were booked on the regal empress which looks like a old and huge ferry boat. The rooms were herendous and the upkeep of the boat was very disappointing. After the cruise we checked into the ramada resort in ft lauderdale where i was informed i had to do another time share presentation. At this point i was very upset and decided to call customer service. I was informed that i had to attend the presentation in ft lauderdale, it was mandatory. The presentation i attended in orlando was optional and i didnt have to attend although it was made clear i had no choice. Once checked in we stood in the hallway outside our rooms for 45 minutes to an hour due to the fact the hotel key system wasn't working. I woke up the next morning to find my 4 year old son playing with another womens underwear that had been left in his bed prior to us arriving. When i thought the worse was over, i returned the rental car only to receive a $200 bill for taxes and incidentals, again was not made aware of these charges. I complained to management and the welcome center and was given this form to send to customer service compliance department but i have not heard anything so far. I just thank god i had enough money to survive this vacation.
