I think the owner and everyone at United Travel should be ashamed of themselves if they know what's going on. They lure people in for free airline tickets if you listen to a 90 minute presentation. Then it is one lie after another. The owner comes in, he has no financial reports for the company, he tells us he overnighted $500 a person for airline tickets and then after the 90 minutes we had to go spend another hour one on one with a "travel consultant". It was the biggest B.S.
At the end of the sales pitch, which by the way started out for $14,000 and ended up at $3000, we were given our travel award. I understand we have to pay taxes, but on top of that, we have to pay $65 per person for the ticket. Plus, you have to list 3 choices of dates 45 days apart from each other. Then if you read the contract it says that the date, destination and airports are all subject to change. These certificates are bought in bulk. And believe me, they are probably $500 for thousands of certificates at most.
I am disgusted that people take such advantage of others. I think there should be a class action law suit against United Travel. I feel bad for the people who go there, put money in their tank to get there and can't afford $65 a person to travel. It is utterly disgusting and unlawful!
