I checked this company out found nothing bad and hired them to move my belongings across the country. The guys who picked up my things in CA couldn't have been nicer. (even with the couple of items broken). They even assured me when I needed a couple of extra weeks above the month's FREE storage, that it would be OK. (To the tune of $1000.00 more) What's a girl to do, they were holding my furniture hostage. Oh, and by the way they DON'T take cashier's checks ONLY cash or money orders. They promise to bring your furniture in reassemble it and put where you want it. LOL Also you are supposed to check off each numbered box as it is unloaded. LOL NONE of this happened. The driver told me he was just a driver and did not have the time to let me check things off nor did he have time to put things back together. When I contacted the office, they did nothing. I had lots of damage, lots of boxes missing and it was my word against theirs. And if I attempted to file any kind of charges against them I would be in violation of the contract and they would sue me. This is the same contract that they did not honor. Well my only retribution is Karma and that good old saying tell 10 people and they tell 10 people. And then tonight on Inside Edition I heard a report about complaint. This is my Ah Ha moment.
