My report is like all the others. Trinity Movers, aka Oxford Movers (Sam Famor aka Sam Ford) signed a contract with us to move our household belongings to South Carolina. Most of the movers were good men. They told us we had to have cash - which I had and they stole half of it out of my purse ($1,750... Report filed with the Alpharetta, GA police department).
After that they told us that since we didn't have all the money they couldn't delivery. Of course I told them I would get the additional monies the next morning (banks are closed at midnight). They then took all of our things and proceeded to try and strong-arm us for additional monies to the tune of $3,000 more (we had already given them the initial $1,750).
We called them 4 to 6 times a day for a week with no response. After contacting every agency imaginable (we found out they had no authority to move across state lines) they finally contacted us to tell us our things were in Conyers, GA.
We had to hire another company to pick up our things and move them to South Carolina (lots of damage to furniture).
Do not use trinity movers - they are scam artists!
