Booked 2 tickets on July 2 and had to cancel due to health issues. Delta advised that tickets had to be rebooked within 1 year. Checked with Delta again in March and again was told that tickets had to be rebooked within 1 year. Specifically asked if trip had to be completed and was advised that if trip was booked by July it would be okay. Contacted Delta on June 28 to rebook tickets and was told that travel had to be completed by July 2 or my tickets would be invalid. Told Delta that I was advised I had to rebook by July not complete travel. Supervisor Ms. Smith in the Atlanta office advised that I should contact Corporate Customer Care by fax or email, which I have done. Was told I should hear something within 30 days. I have also registered a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
