I wished to make a purchase of Airline Tickets through Priceline.com. They would give me the time of my flights nor would they tell me if my "Name Your Own Price" was accepted until after I entered my credit card information. They also wouldn't tell me my itinerary until after I finished my purchase.

First of all, they didn't accept my offer. They counter offered at a price that was less than impressive in comparison with the likes of Travelocity or Expedia.

Secondly, An entire day has been cut out of my vacation due to the flight times that I have been given. I will arrive in Las Vegas at 9:49pm on Sunday and will depart back to Philly at 6am on Friday. So, I have to pay a hotel rate for Sunday and then check out before 4am on Friday.

The Kicker...

I e-mailed them immediately following the purchase and viewing the itinerary. They responded saying that they can't do anything about it. I'm Locked In. I responded, requesting a phone number to call. The reply was nearly identical except they gave me a number. I called the number and the voice prompt said that customer service reps are only available to those who's travel time is within 7 days of the day I called.

I ignored the voice prompt and spoke with a customer service rep. She told me the same thing I recieved twice in e-mail. I asked for someone ahead of her, they told me the same thing. No Exchange, No Transfer, and NO REFUND!!!

Priceline is a ridiculous company who takes money and gives the consumer no choice and no resolution for unsatisfactory transactions. How can this be? How can they get a way with taking your money all the while not giving you any options whatsoever. This is bad practice. Any online Credit Card purchases should come with some sort of guarantee or refund policy. Now I'm stuck paying for two days of a hotel that I'm not going to be able to use, just to make the vacation. Something has to be done. Is there anything that can be done? Please send me an e-mail if there are any options for me.
