I was brooking a flight to Rochester NY, when a pop up from Priceline came up for vacation packages. I thought I would see what discounts I could get. After booking with Priceline; three days later an emergency arise and I had to cancel the total vacation package through Priceline. I was aware that the airline tickets can not be refunded and can be used with in one year. I called the Hotel and I was told since I brooked this room through Priceline, that I would have to deal with them. The Hotel stated that refund fees for rooms are granted if cancelation was done 2days before check-in or they will charge one day rate if cancelation was done one day before check-in. I call Priceline they said that the room rates was non-refundable because they negotiated a discount. The airline tickets and Hotel rooms were the same rate if I had booked them straight from the Hotel and airlines. I feel that Priceline is fraudulent base on the statement made, that they "negotiated a discount room". And that's why I was not granted a partial or full refund on my Hotel room fee. I sent them several email, but I have not received a reply...
