We purchased tickets via expedia.com and went to the US in September. We wanted a reputed flight and was happy to decide to go all the way to the US and back with a couple of transits using Air New Zealand. There were other cheaper airlines but because we are very happy with Air New Zealand, we were happy to pay the extra amount to fly AIr New Zealand. However it turned out to be that eight out of ten flights we used were not air New Zealand but an airline I had never used in my whole life, which is Tahiti Nui. Tahiti Nui airline flights were horrible horrible and useless, serving horrible ice cold synthetic food (which I never ever eat) and ice cold bread and horrible service too. They won't even bother to come when called. Served ice cold bread at every meal, hardly made and attempt in warming the food nor in preparing the food. When I am not flying, I choose to buy and eat what I want and what is good for me.in these plains I had no choice. So I did not eat what was commercial, processed food which was their best foods.
On inquiry at each airport as to why it wasn't Air New Zealand which we booked, I was told it was 'Air New Zealand operated by Tahiti Nui'. What does this even mean? I realised it meant the flight was totally and completely 'Air Tahiti Nui', and there is no AIr New Zealand whatsoever in sight.
Why are you fooling people? Why did you decieve us and rip us off saying it was AIr New Zealand when it was an haggered Tahiti Nui with horrible old airbuses with horrrible service?
Never ever use expedia.com to book flights and never use Tahiti flights.
