I booked 2 flights from Toronto to Cleveland and then from Cleveland to our final destination to Phoenix. I had confirmed both flights 2 hours before going to the airport and everything was confirmed. When I got to the Toronto airport, they told me that my two confirmed seats were no longer available and that I would have to wait until I got to Cleveland to re-book another flight. We ended up waiting 6 hours in the Cleveland airport before we could get another flight to Phoenix.
I called Expedia and they told me that I'm out of luck for getting compensated for the screwup.
I also called United Airlines and they told me that I had to deal with Expedia and when I spoke to a supposed Manager at Expedia, I was told I would have to talk with United Airlines.
I will never book another connecting flight again and will never deal with Expedia due to their total ignorance to their customers.
I suggest anyone reading this not deal with Expedia. They are very charming on the phone until you have a complaint and then repeat the same thing over and over and over just to anoy you and hope you hang up.
Its no wonder people are becoming afraid of flying due to all the (Inappropriate Content Removed) that travel agents and airlines put you thru.
