$400 Fee for Broken Phone!

I bought a telephone on Target.com. I replaced my phone through them. After about 2 weeks, the telephone was damaged. I named Verizon since I'd Verizon whilst the provider. They explained that there is nothing I really could do but to purchase a brand new telephone. And so I went and bought a brand new telephone from Bestbuy. Today a few months after I bought a brand new telephone, I obtain a notice from Simplexity informing me I owe them $400 bucks for that damaged phone since I deactivated it. Well obviously I deactivated it, it was damaged. They explained that there is nothing they might do but cost me $400 since I no further was applying that telephone. How am I designed to make use of a damaged telephone? They went into my banking account required our $200 without my authorization! I named Simplexity to try and solve this plus they informed me that it had been not their issue which once they consider cash from somebody that not need the capability to return it and at-one stage after I requested to talk to the organization workplace, they informed me that it'dnot support my situation after which hung-up on me.
