This person blatantly misrepresented both the size and condition of two items I purchased via an ad (s) in tacktrader.com.
Both size and condition were confirmed via email.
I was told I was buying a 5" Stubben D-Ring Snaffle bit that was in "perfect condition".
I received a 5 1/2" Stubben D-Ring Snaffle with a severely damaged mouthpiece that would aggravate and cause damage to the bars and tongue of a horses mouth if it were actually used.
This seller promoted a "really nice English bridle" and "beautiful bridle", and confirmed it to be the same one advertised in tacktrader.com as being Horse size and in "excellent condition".
The seller invoiced me via Paypal for the cost of the bit, bridle and shipping charges. I authorized the payment the same day.
The seller then advised that the actual shipping costs would be $17. More than was billed and paid.
I said to invoice me via Paypal for the addition shipping costs, which was done, and again I authorized payment the same day.
I received via USPS Signature Services a very well worn bridle, with damaged reins and rusted buckles.
My request for a refund and to return both falsely advertised items was met with the resolution:
"HI Carol,
I am so sorry you are not happy with it. If you want to send it back I will refund your money but I will have to send a money order being I have no funds in my Paypal account. I don't know how to add funds (if I even can) or I would refund you with Paypal. Please let me know if that sounds ok.

I sent a money request via Paypal for the total amount I had paid for the items plus the shipping charges. I confirmed that I would return the items via the same method they were sent once my payment was received.
This money request has not been paid.
