For those of you interested in getting new plastic coated cushions for your cockpit beware of using Bottomsiders in Hoquiam Washington. We had a full set made by them and we had problems right from the start. Four of them were made the wrong size and all of them had such a thin coating it started to crack and wear off immediately. The production manager told us to bring them back and they would replace the 4 that were cut the wrong size and respray the rest. He told us they had problems with their spray coating mechanism when ours were made. We shipped them from Puerto Rico to Washington State where they are located. The production manager looked at them again and affirmed that they were made wrong and had an inferior plastic coating and they would do what he had promised. Months went by. The owner finally called and in a very nasty tone asked us why we were storing our cushions at her business. We reminded her of what had transpired and she proceeded to call us liars and there was nothing wrong with the cushions. Other cushion makers have looked at them and agree they are very sub standard. All agree they were made wrong. Even the production manager! Now the owner refuses to do anything about the problem. Don't use Bottomsiders for your boat or RV cushions!!!
They're very nice to start with but once they have your money their attitude changes drastically!
