We ordered an expensive set of leather furniture from this company in the Fall of 2002. The furniture was delivered to our home in October. We immediately (that very day) contacted the store manager to report delivery damage and to report the wrong furniture legs (not what we had ordered).
Over the following 11 months, we logged approximately 40 phone calls to: the Store Manager, the Customer Service Department, the Company Owner, and the Finance Company to complain about the delivery damage, the wrong legs, and two additional problems. The two additional problems were that the leather was mysteriously losing its' color (fading) in places, and that the cushions developed major wrinkles that were permanent creases (contrary to the store display of extremely SMOOTH cushions, and contrary to the newspaper and brochure ads).
To this date, this company has not repaired anything that they could repair (i.E., replace legs or repair delivery damage), and they REFUSE to replace the cushions for the furniture (their prior "repair" attempts were futile, and the only other alternative was replacement). The finance company investigated our claim and AGREED that the furniture needs to be repaired / replaced, yet the company REFUSES to do so, even though the Finance Company appealed to them on our behalf.
We feel that we paid for a product that we did not receive. We did not receive the beautiful, quality furniture that we saw in the store or the ads, and this company's complete refusal to correct these problems is inexcusable and fraudulent. We have asked them to take the entire set of furniture back and refund our money, but they have refused to do that, as well.
