After a number of years I was persuaded to change from a land line connection to a cell phone connection. It never worked satisfactorily indicating that my home had failed to communicate with the monitoring centre and not resetting automatically the next time it made contact. I was never sure when my home was monitored especially as I am a snowbird from the UK.
Eventually after many visits by technicians the problem was NEVER resolved
I informed Protection one that their system was not fit for purpose and should be removed from my home and that my contract should be cancelled and my outstanding credit of $746 be returned,
So far after emails and letters to the CEO no acknowledgement or replies. Not the best of customer service.
