I signed a 3 year contract with Protection One to installed an alarm system at the townhouse I was renting in Las Vegas, NV. It has already been 2 years since the installation and I have 12 months remaining. My landlord is short selling the property and I had to move. Protection One advised me that I would have to pay $455.00 for early termination. That is ridiculous!!! This is a situation that is beyond my control. I have been a loyal paying customer and when circumstances happen Protection One is not there for their customers. Per a letter from Rosalinda Hernandez, Executive Customer Relations at Protection One, "If you choose not to resign with us at your new home then we can set you up on a payment plan to satisfy the remaining balance on your contract."
I moved out of state and the complex that I moved to will not allow installation of an alarm system. So I guess Protection One could care less... All they want is $. DON'T USE THEM!!! They are not for the people and could care less about helping their customers through these hard economic times.
