I am from out of town and was trying to find canning jars since I was in the area. They were re-doing their floors and there were plenty of associates available but everyone I asked gave me directions to housewares but no one would go with me to find them. The last person I asked told me that with the floors being done they didn't know exactly where they moved them so they didn't want to go find them but they knew they had them somewhere. I was frustrated so I proceeded to go check out with my other items. It was before 8:00 P.M. And there were only 3 registers open and no self-check outs. Everything was shut down and before long the lines were 15 people or more deep. The complaints from customers were plentiful and the gentleman in front of me said, "here we go again". It'll take forever. This was the worst I have ever experienced in a retail store. I suggested that the person beside me go to Jewelry to check out since they only had one item and they said, "they won't check me out". Something should be done about this or we should take our business elsewhere... Because K-mart even offers rewards and incentives and I've never had bad service there.
