Here I was moving from Cali to Utah, biggest move I've ever done. I have a bad back and have moved quite a bit so I wanted to do as little as possible. Feeling sceptical about hiring movers I decided to do it anyways. I was quoted a decent price about $12-1300. I figured that didn't sound too bad. I checked some reviews nothing seemed too bad other then the occasional they charged more and some items were broken, I didn't know about complaint at that time. The date approached July 14th.

Movers were over an hour late which set me behind being that I was driving to Utah that night. Then they refused to take many items that I didn't have boxed (because there weren't boxes that size), unless I paid around $80 for them to box each one. I figured they're mirrors and I knew there was a chance of that so I left them behind. I had a marbel top end table they wouldn't take either (the marbel couldn't come off) I thought that was lame but OK. THEN they said my mattresses needed to be rapped HUUUH that I didn't get I wasn't anything like that and they knew I had mattresses they wanted to charge me $60 to wrap each one. NO WAY.

I'm a single mom supporting my 3 kids and mother (hince moving to a state where cost of living is so much cheaper), I couldn't afford that and I was already so stressed out with everything I was dealing with I just told them to leave what they wouldn't take. I asked them to keep things in storage till I had an address for things to be dropped off. On Aug 4th I sent an Email advising them that I was ready for my items to be delivered. I also asked for $100 compensation on the mattress (I had to buy 2 new ones) I had no idea needed to be wrapped they laughed at me and told me NO.

One C. S Rep I talked to put me down and made me feel lower then I've ever felt before. She said to me "That sounds ridiculous, I can't believe you couldn't afford to have your mattresses wrapped but went and bought new ones." I yelled at her because I had never felt so belittled and what kind of C. S Reps talk to customers that way. Anyways a long story short I still haven't receieved my items, they constantly tell me next week, but won't put anything in writing, they well me what a truck comes to Utah they'll load my things on it.

Its been pass the 30 business and still no date. I have had to buy lots of new items for my children and home and my mothers apt since they are all on the truck. I am so frusterated I just want my stuff. Oh ya and with all the furniture they didn't take I did have about 30 more boxes (not big ones) and my cost came out to be almost $2000 total, about $700 more then I was quoted. I think I was definitely taken advantage of.

They saw a single mom (woman) with no man around (they guy new that cause he asked me 100's of questions about my personal life) and they overcharged me. I'd like to do a class action law suit or just a small claims suit. I think they need to be closed down and not given any more moving licenses. BTW they have 42 complaints on BBB even though they aren't signed up with them, and the people who gave them their license has 46 complaints. WHY ARE THEY STILL IN BUSINESS??? Thats why they've changed their names so many times. These people are thieves
