Back in April, I had received a shut off notice, because I was one month behind plus a slight bit (6-10 dollars from March). I was told my service would be shut off soon. I called someone in collections, and he told me he could work with me since I told him that I could have the total amount on May 3rd in cash in the Pottstown office. That was including the most recent bill. Someone turned off the cable Sun. May 2nd. I was in the office in Pottstown paying the total bill plus the most recent like I promised, and the woman there who waited on me was rude to me.
I was told we would have cable within 24 hrs. Which would make it approx 4pm May 4th (tues). Tues. May 4th came and by 7pm it was not on yet. My boyfriend called the Pottstown office and someone was rude to him and swore to him. It wasn't until 9:45 until someone came to hook it up that night.
I told them I shouldn't have to pay for a hook up charge if someone told me they would work with me. I was charge anyway. They keep sending me shut off notices because I didn't pay it. I have just been sending my monthly charge as soon as I get the bill to keep it from getting shut off. I guess they can say anything and do whatever they want. Someone said they were going to fill out some form to take care of it, but I don't think anything was done because that was at least 2-3 weeks ago. I was told 2 weeks I would hear something back from them about this.
