Rip-off! Nightmare! I was tortured and abused the entire day by sprint people and still have not gotten my problem resolved. Carol Stream

My daughter has sprint service. We decided to switch our cell phone service to sprint so that we could take advantage of the mobil to mobil service with sprint. We got our first bill and it was over $300.00 upon investigating the charges we discovered that there was numerous downloads from all sorts of crazy things. My husband and I are both over 40 and would not have down loaded these things.

I called Sprint customer service and they assured me that these download charges would be taken off.in the meantime, we were contacted by Sprint to change our local and long distance carrier to Sprint. I told them no because my husband has an international calling plan for 7 cents per minute and we would not change that. Sprint agreed to give us the same rate. With that we decided to change.

We got our first home phone bill and the call to Greece for 23 minutes was 87.00. I called sprint on 6-8-04 and they agreed to correct that bill to reflect the international rate they quoted. On 7-01-04 my long distance service was disruppted. NOW THE NIGHTMARE BEGINS.

I call sprint collections first. I was told that there were no credits pending. I was told that sprint did show a dispute as of 6-8-04, but no record of any calls to sprint (how would there be a dispute without a call?) I asked for a supervisor and was refused one, I asked for corporate information and refused that as well. I spent ENDLESS hours on the phone and the internet until I finally got a phone number for Executive Services.

I first spoke with Blythe Reynolds who assured me she would get the cell phone issue resolved that day, but didn't call back and the with Pat Gray who so generously offered to reduce the international call to 12 cents per minute versus the 7 cents promised. I said NO, and asked to speak with the next person up the chain of command. She responded, "the buck stops here lady."

I was tortured and abused the entire day by sprint people and still have not gotten my problem resolved. I will NOT pay for these things, and in doing so, they will report negatively on my credit. That isn't fair, to purposely lie to get you business and then threaten you if you don't pay. This is extrotion. Sprint is horrible and I regret the day I ever got involved with them.
