I was finishing with a large cleaning job for a great customer when Bob and his wife came to the house and asked if I would like to work as their Cleaning Service for his Property Management Company. Of course being a new business I jumped at the opportunity. The following day I was sent to Wilsonville to clean a 2br apt. I spent 5 hours there and did an exceptional job. Jamie was not available and I was told to leave a card.
I called her a couple of weeks later and was informed I had to wait until the 10th or 25th of the month to receive payment which she said would be less than the rate in which I invoiced the job. I was willing to take less than my normal hourly rate thinking this would be a great relationship and there would be ongoing work. I said that was fine and I waited.
When the date had come and gone I emailed her several times with no response. I tried calling Mr. Blackstone and his number was blocked by my carrrier in addition the 360 number is never answered or calls returned. I called Jamies number and left several messages over a few days time. It has now been over a month with absolutely no response from either of them. No payment and no return jobs.
I believe the entire situation was a planned scam on a new business owner (ME). I don't know how someone like this can successfully run a Property Management Company or rentals if this is the way they treat vendors and tenants.
I sure would like to learn how to file a complaint with a business bureau on my behalf it cost me the gas, supplies and 7 hours time there and back to do this apt for nothing.
