Ripoff Lies before they get your money and lies after they get your money Decide for yourself

The IMG sales representative that contacted me completely mislead and lied to me about what IMG had to offer.

He told me IMG had 120 catagories (page 5 of there brochure) of product to choose from and that I could select and operate 4-5 catagories at a time. I told him I had a specific area of interest and he told me it was all on the web site and that I would be supplied merchandise and sales leads for whatever catagory I chose.

Totally false, IMG has none of the catagories I was interested in and in fact had only 10 of the 120 catagories listed in the brochure.

When I expressed my dissatisfaction about the website with my "mentor" she suggested I start my own catagory (what a joke, IMG is supposed to supply ME with product and sales leads, thats why I paid them $7450.00).

The sales rep said IMG dosen't mark up the merchandise on the web site and makes its money through "Joint Ventures", the mentor however told me that all the merchandise on the website is marked up (which explains lack of interest from stores I spoke with).

The sales rep told me I would get 50 leads at a time. After I signed up the mentor tells me you only get 25 and can only select one of the ten catagories at a time.

My mentor told me the sales leads I get will be pre qualified or hot leads (meaning IMG called the stores 2-3 days before to let them know I would be calling). Out of the 25 leads I got I called 15. One # was disconnected, one never answered after repeated calls, one contact person didn't work at the store anymore and the rest never heard of IMG. No wonder they didn't want me to mention IMG when I made my intro call.

IMG clearly says whatever they want to get people to sign on then your on your own.

I have tried to resolve this with them and get my money back. I even offered to deduct money for the time 3-4 hrs I spent talking with the mentor but they refuse to address my offer.

Remember you pay them $7450 and then have to spend several hundred to get up and running.

I requested they respond in writing but they insist they can only resolve this over the phone (listening to them on the phone is how I got in this mess in the first place). What company with any integrity would say something like that.

I hope I can stop someone else from making the same mistake I did by signing on with a company like this.

Listen to others that have had problems with this company. Read the complaints on this site they are real (the rebuttal on this website by the president of IMG, Mike Morgan, you may find it as transparent as I do).
