I received a bill from Water Submetering Systems, LLC dated 8-8 for $203.33 with a due date of 8-23. I received a phone call on 8-17 informing me that the water had been turned off to my rental unit and I would have to pay a total of 4353.35 to get it turned back on. I received a final notice also dated 8-8 at 1 pm today, 8-8-17 stating that they would turn off the water if the bill wasn't paid on or before today. Repeated calls to their phone number starting about 1pm after I had received the mail but these were met with continued busy signals or in one case a shift to what seemed to be a fax machine.
Water Submetering Systems, LLC obviously had my phone number and decided to wait until they had turned the water off to inform me. My requests to them to turn the water back on after I paid the inflated bill over the phone and wave the turn off and turn back on the water were rejected even though their first notice had a due date of 8-23.
