The Columbia House TV greats is such a rip off. First of all, after you get your first DVD for $4.99 (in my case, the first DVD of the first season of "Friends"). Your second one comes and it costs $25.32 for only the 2nd dvd of the first season, from then on it's the same thing, the 3rd and 4th dvd from that season are $25.32 each. What a totaly rip off!!!
I wanted to cancel my account and sent them back my DVD and wrote them and said I wanted to cancel but nothing happened, another DVD came 4 weeks later, like I'm going to pay that much for a fourth of a season.
I was an idiot signing up for it in the first place, but it stated no obligation and that you could cancel at anytime. But you really can't.
Also, there is no way to look up your account online and if you want to call them on the 1-800 number they have you have to wait at least an hour to talk to someone and they don't do a thing, the customer service is awful. I was happy with my DVD club part w / them but because of my experience with the TV Greats part I won't do any business with Columbia House ever again!!! Don't join the columbia house tv greats club!
