I hired this company in May they sounded so great over the phone, that should have been my first hint. I spoke with a girl named MayZ, and I told her of an experience i had heard of with a moving company of extra last minute charges and stuff. She assured me they were a binding company and the estimate she gave me was solid, no addition fees. I explained i was moving on 6/30 from Colorado to Arkansas and needed my stuff there by 7/1... She told me it was a direct long distance move and i needed to be in my new home by 11 am when the movers arrived and they needed to pick up my things by 6/29 to get there in time. We did the inventory list and she sent me the estimate... Wow great price... As I looked over the inventory sheet it was SOOOOO wrong, I called her back and left her a voice mail and emailed her. Then daily fro a week i called and she was always on the phone or out to lunch or off. FINALLY on 6/26 i reach her and told her she had it wrong, we corrected everything, wow 6 items missing and 11 items removed and the price went up $800.00. I said no way forget it. She called back saying if we can agree on $200.00 more than original estimate they would do that, all fees and gas included. I agreed. She sent me the new contract, and assured me they would be there by 5pm on the 29th. (i had to be out of my place by the 30th) The driver calls me at 8 am on the 28th and states they are way ahead of schedule and need to pick up my things, i stated no im not ready, they said if they can pick it up they will compensate me... I called the mgr (kevin litz) he stated they had no right to authorize such a deal and if i did not let them take my things that day i could not get moved as they can not come on the 29th. After throwing a big fit, he let me know they would be there by noon on the 29th, so i amde arrangements to be there (i wasnt happy) they dint show up... The driver calls me at 9 pm stating the last job they had was too big and there was no room on the truck, so they would have to come back on the 30th in the monring. The driver gave me perosnal cell numbers to call mgmt, i called. Finally a guy calls back stating his vacation started that daya dn to call someone in the morning." im not dealing with this " he stated. I called and spoke with kevin on 6/30, he assured me the truck was gonna be here by 10am. 11 am i call back, im told any minute. 1 pm the driver calls stating " were on our way we are an hr outside of colorado " ummm, they were in coloradio yesterday what happened? At 4 20pm they arrive. Upon arriving they give me all these documents to sign and state all these extra charges for packing, my house was all packed up, they said no we cannot use ur blankest like this we have to do it... I told them i was told by may this is what i need to do, i was told sorry its wrong. Ok now lets add $500.00 for boxes and tape. They finished loading at 7 30 pm. All of a suddent he price jumps up over 2000.00 I demaded a weight in they said NO i demanded they bring my stuff back in they said NO... I called kevin and spoke with him, he assured me a " large" suitable discount for false info and being late. (you knwo that didnt happen) i asked will my stuff be there on time, they said NO cause it was picked up alte so worse case scneario over the weekend. I said fine. Tues 7/5 no delivery..
Called back on 7/5 asked whats worng, they said. Oh its a holiday and we dont work on weekends. WHAT? So i asked when is my stuff coming. Keviin said by friday evening. I asked where is my stuff now, he stated ON THE ROAD... Friday comes, no stuff, called them sat no answer called sunday no answer called monday... Speak with kevin again. He now states, he is sorry for the delay but it will be the next weekend... I asked him can i come get my stuff with a uhaul and we will call the move even for what i apid. He stated NO you cannot. YOU WILL HAVE UR PROPERT ON SAT 7/16.
7/16 no delievery, so i call and email, no response. Again on sunday, no response, then i call on monday 7/18. Now im told that the truck broke down on its way here on sunday... Excuse me? I asked if it broke down on sunday, how does that effect the fact you were to be here on saturday? I asked why didnt you people call me, he stated " i did " i called him out, uyou did not kebvin, then he said / " ok i didnt" i said why are you lying to me, he said we dont lie, we might break promises but we dont lie... Wtf. So then i said when is my stuff coming? He said, we have 21 days, not including holidays or weekends cause we dont work weekends. WHAT??? When is my stuff coming i asked, he then stated " i cannot give you and arrival time, cause you wont believe me anyway, it will be there when it egts there" then he ends the call with " oh btw, its gonna be an addition $1400.00 upon deliever otherwise we store ur property out of state and charge you $250.00 per day" i said thats not in my binding contract, he stated, that contract isnt valid, what we have now is... When i emntioned i was gonan sue him, he stated.." go ahead, you are the only one ever to compain of our company and you wont win" well..
Today is now the 20th of July, been in my new place since july 1 with NOTHING... And according to him, my stuff will be delivered by aug. 1, which is what they claim they are alotted. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY...
