National Relocations INC
Do not use them. Ripped me off big time

I moved from Knoxville, TN to Port St Lucie, FL. I went online and did my research as to which companies were accredited by the BBB. National Relocations at the time (5 weeks ago) had no complaints and were accredited. We chose them and got a really great estimate. We called and told them we needed our things to be picked up and delivered on these exact dates because we had to work on Friday in TN and then again on Monday in FL. They said no problem, took my credit card and charged the deposit. We told them we wanted to charge the whole move to our credit card. No problem she says.

When it came to the day they were supposed to pick up our things they called 2 hours late and said they couldnt be there till the next day. Now mind you we still had a 12 hour drive ahead of us and had to be to work the day after we got down there. They came and picked our things and demanded cash. We asked them why they took our card for the deposit if they didnt take cards at all. The guy said he didnt know and demanded cash. We got him the amount he asked for (60% of our estimate). After they got everything loaded they made us sign the contract which said we now owed them 100% more than the estimate. We questioned this and he said we had more stuff than they thought. I dont know how this is because on the original estimate, I had everything individually inventoried for this reason. We signed it but told him we would be calling his supervisor because we didnt agree to it.

Our things were supposed to be delivered the day after they were picked up. I was told this over the phone, in an email, and by the delivery driver. I called the company (which is not open on weekends mind you) on monday. They said that our stuff would be there the next day, but only if we agreed to pay the amount they insisted on. We agreed. Next day still no stuff. The same thing happened the next day and so on. I called yet again at the end of the week and they told me Jeremy was the supervisor and he was out and that he would call me back. He never did, but I called back anyway and finally got ahold of him. He told me that they never said when our stuff would be here (a boldface lie) and that it was my job to sit here and wait. He said our stuff was in a warehouse in GA waiting for someone else to move to florida so we could share a truck. So because no one else is moving to florida I cannot have my furniture. I told him I was going to have to call my lawyer if our stuff wasnt here soon. His response: Go Ahead and hung up.

It has now been 8 days with no furniture in my new house and they said they were in Florida and going to be here 7 hours ago. Still not here. I went online today to see if there were any new complaints on them. Get this they are now NOT accredited anymore as of yesterday and have 12 complaints against them. This is great I dont know if Ill ever get my stuff, and if I do Im sure it will be broken or stolen. If anyone knows of anything I should do, please let me know.
