FedEx dropped my laptop at my back door, where it was dropped on the ground carelessly. It was very clear that the driver wanted to go home. I was not home, and I was not notified at all that my laptop was there. I could have gone around to the front.
This shows their lack of respect for packages. Another time they left my new laptop charger out in the rain in a soaked box. That is not what I should see. It would have fit in my mailbox.
