No time for detail now, but filed 3 diff't claims on home we bought where seller provided this home warranty company First American - denied all claims without any diligent determination of cause, origin, and damage. This within first 60 days of policy.
Wow, they are terribly incompetent, except at quickly denying claims to close their file. I had to video actual damage & send it for them to even reconsider dispatching a second tech (first one never took his tools out the truck) and this one rescheduled twice, so I finally fixed the f'g plumbing leak myself. I had video of the leak, invoices for repairs and the actual leaking valve part as proof, but they went ahead & denied the claim a second time.
The other 2 diff't claims went about the same. One on pool filter confirmed damaged part by their tech, but denied anyway as filter still functional. I'm sure when it burns up due to damaged part, they'll deny that for failue to remedy broken part.
What a SHAM!
