Best Buy
Advertized a mail-in rebate ripoff for an item and never sent the rebate. Now they want to replace it with a gift card only good in their store, instead of my money, ripoff

I purchased a memory module from the best buy store here in Ann Arbor. It was a 128 megabyte pny memory stick ofr 30.00 and it had a 20.00 mail in rebate.

I sent in all the required information and waited 12 weeks for the rebate. $ weeks past the time they said it would take.

I contacted Best Buy at their website and they responded that they would send me a gift card for the 20.00. I do not want the gift card I want my money so I can use it where and on what I want. Not just in their store, which i may not return to.

I havwe tried all of the phone numbers to get help with this and I have gotten no where.

All I want is the rebate I am entitled to.
