I, like many others on this website, am held hostage by Monitronics tactics of "automatically" renewing my contract and then not letting me get out.
They did say I could "get out" if I paid for the rest of the contract term but I don't see how paying for a year and NOT getting service is better than paying for a year and getting service. How the hell is that "getting out"?!!!
Then when I complained about their crappy system they tried to blackmail me into signing an even LONGER contract by saying the only way they'd fix my system was if I signed a new contract. Otherwise, I'd have to pay for it myself. Can you believe it? Pay to fix their damn system that I don't even want!!!
They've got some balls. But no heart or brains.
