I also purchased a monitoring system through Pro Alert. The system was transferred over to monitronics. I sold my house and the alarm system with it. Monitronics automatically renewed my contract in March, without notifying me, for 1 year. Now they tell me that I either hookup a new system or continue paying the monthly monitoring with no system.
