Tonight, Saturday, November 28, I received my usual monthly email notification from AT&T that my online statement was ready for viewing/printing. This month's charges were higher than normal.
When I printed the bill to examine it more closely, I found a charge for $8.43 for "MYTELESERVICES V/M ONETIME SET-UP FEE" added to the billing for my home land line.
1. I have never heard of this company, nor have I heard of "Enhanced Services Billing, Inc.", which placed the added charges on my statement, "Billed on Behalf of MYTELESERVICES, INC."
2. I have never requested, ordered or authorized voice mail services to be added to my home land line, as I have an answering machine attached to that line and voice mail service from AT&T on my cellular lines.
