FRAUD, LARCENY Why don't the FEDS Get this ripoff business from hell? Gulfport

We purchased a contract from NEXTEL from a door to door salesperson. She tried the first time and she wasn't so lucky but the second time she brought her Manager with her. The manager promised us the moon, Promises like "no dead spots", "the Best service of all cellular co's" the list goes on.

The Contract started out like this, We placed an order for three phones. We paid a contract price of 158.00. Then we paid 57.00 for shipping which we were promised the phones overnight. Well 5 days later we got our phones. We charged them up and went to use them. Two days of use and we noticed the phone calls were dropping on all the phones and one person would drive to his house which there was NO SERVICE at all. We filed a complaint with the sales people. The sales lady seemed sincere in trying to help us but she couldn't. We complained to the same manager tha made all of the promises and she REFUSED to talk to us. Soooooo

We get caught up in a ordeal which could top the Clinton/Bush Election with all the lies and run around and false promises made by NEXTEL Partners.

It was determined that the phones that came with the contract were no good. (and this is where it gets good) For a meere 149.00 per phone they would "give" us a phone that would work. Well We fought and fought and NEXTEL finally promised us new phones for 49.00 each. They also promised to wipe the first months bill but they refused to cancel the contract because they said we had aquired to many minutes of use.

We argued? Well Yeah! When you get cut off every other minute you have to redial and tlak real quick and keep doing it till the conversation is complete. We were not happy we felt they should have provided us with equipment that worked at no cost to us. But to get it moving we agreed.

So they sent us new phones which did the exact same thing. We told them and they stated "it must just be our location".

Well WE complained they passed the buck around and we just gave up. This is now only 3-4 weeks into the contract. We get a Bill for Over $1,100.00 WE FREAKED! Our plans were suppose to be 45,45, and 55 a month. Well they charged us for the first month anyway and charged us 179.00 per phone and 30.00 to ship the phones and then a 30.00 per phone activation fee and technical fees and the list goes on.

We complained to a couple of companies and even to the State attorney and well I guess NEXTEL Pays handsome fees out to make them selves look good. MY advise to ALL THE unsatisfied Customers of NEXTEL: DONT PAY EM ANOTHER CENT
