I changed my mind the very same day I signed the contract for 3 Nextel cell phones. I was told by the store manager that I would not be billed or charged anything if I did so within 14 days, so that is why I decided to cancel the contract so early.
I am currently being charged $35 x 3 for activation of the cell phones and shipping and handling of $14.99 each for the 3 phones.
I called Nextel at least 6 times and each time I was told different reasons why I was being charged $122.50 for absolutely nothing, for cell phones I refused on delivery, and that I never used and on an account that I closed the same day it was signed.
I have spoken to the store manager a few times, and he has told me that he forwarded my bill to his district manager, hoping that she would be able to put remedy to this situation but still, 1 month later that has not happened!
