Refund policy is not honorable

Chase Relocation Moving Coordinator; Brian Thomas, had sent us a quote of service to move our home furnishings. He asserted that we needed a $400 deposit that was fully refundable if a cancellation was made up to 24 hours prior to the service date. This wording was confirmed in an e-mail contract print out of our service quote.

We used our master card to secure a date and had to cancel 6 days before that date for a number of reasons. Brian said it was no problem and we would receive our refund within 48-72 hours. After that he never would answer his phone calls or e-mails from us. We looked up the main office number in Niles, Illinois and called that number and it also went unanswered.

We have filed complaints with the FTC, and Better Business Bureau. Our next recourse will be small claims court.
