My name is Michele. I hired Mega Movers to help me when my husband and I decided to move to Fayetteville North Carolina. My husband is now do his 2nd deployment in Iraq so I was pretty much left trying to do all of this on my own. Well anyway the movers were suppose to be here between 4-7 today which is June/15. I sat and wait on them until after 9pm.
With no avail I got no phone call or anything tell me why they had not shown up. Well a very good friend of mines father called to findout what was going on. Come to findout the driver was still in Washington D. C, and his truck had broken down. I have no problem with that, and I do understand that things like that happen. My thing is that when my friends father talk to a man there at the company he told him that he would charge my credit card for me cancelling my pick up..
Well first of all they called my last night comfirmed and told me that they would call when they were an hour out I mean how hard is it to pick up the phone, and let you know what's going on and maybe you can understand. Well anyways they were going to charge me $800.00 to move 229miles and now they are telling me that he will have to charge my card $200 and some odd dollars for the cancellation...
Wrong answer first thing in the morning come 8am I will put a stop payement on they will not get any of my money or any of my business... They do not care about anything but the money... People stay away from this company!!!
