First off if you are looking to work for this company there is a few things you should know upfront. I worked for this company for a long time. This office is a Cydcor office. Try looking up Cydcor on Google or Rip off Report and you will find thousands upon thousands of post. All negative.
Let me give you a break down of the day at 3 Rivers. You show up around 11:45am and start your day at 12pm. You will typically have a leaders meeting for roughly half and hour going over the same motivational speeches that have been used day in and day out. Most will make you want to shoot yourself in the face. This is then followed by campaign. This is the point in the day where you practice pitch and learn the same product knowledge that you learned on your very first day. This is usally geared to teach entry level people. Also makes you want to kill yourself as this last also about thirty minutes.
Next you play games... Yes play games! They vary day by day and is at the discretion of the person who came in second on the leader board. After all of this you will have a quick morning meeting recapping the previous meetings and one last quick pep talk, and going over "high rollers".
Then you "hit the field" where you drive your own vehicle up to about a hour away. You then talk to residents who are already bombarded with Fios info. You get to sign about two people up all day after seeing about 50 people. The most you can make on a deal is 63.00. That would be for a full triple play customers.
It takes 3 weeks from the day you make your first sale to get payed. Remember when I said the most you can make from sales is 63.00? They take 15% out of that 63.00 and then tax it. You do the math. Also keep in mind this is straight commission. You WILL use your own vehicle and gasoline with no reimbursement other than tax write offs. Keep in mind that you must spend at least 10,000.00 in gasoline before it becomes a tax write off.
This is a full 6 day work week. Monday thru Saturday. At the end of each night you come back to the office to turn in your numbers and "settle up". You follow this by each team member getting in a circle chanting " ohhhhhh" and ringing a large bell and giving each other a high five. Trust me - very cult like. After this is all done you do small office work like scanning apps, ect. Thus ending your day at roughly 9pm-10pm.
All of this on straight commission.
Major promises are made that you will enter into a manager role with this company and own your own cult like office. However this will never happen. They will however send you to motovational speeches all over the country that you are required to attend and pay for yourself. Some ranging from just a few hundred dollars to almost several thousands.
Opps, and I almost forgot the best part. Even if you do make ok money there and think your pay check is... Lets say 500.00 when you get it and open it and its says 85.00 for a whole week you will again want to shoot your self in the face. If you mention it they will say looks like you will never run a office because your a cry baby.
