I want to let all horse owners know what happens when you search for that perfect filly, find it, pay enough for it, have it hauled 3 states back to you, pay all your fees to AQHA, eventually send it out for training to participate in the AQHA shows, give her a year off, have her bred to an outstanding reining stallion, send in the registration info for my now gorgous bucksin colt, that was to be used in our breeding program, only to find out my fillys sire really isent her sire, I asked Michael Risenger (stallion owner) for help but told me there was" nothing for him to do because he only had 1 stallion on his farm" I have since found out he has had several on his farm dating back to when my problem obviously started, AQHA does not see this as an assocation problem, they told me that I could go after the mare owner for money, in my opion they also go the short end, they paid for a stud that was obviously not the sire, so you will be completly on your own, now I have a very EXPENSIVE GRADE mare, without any papers AQHA wanted them back, and a colt with incomplete paperwork, so buyers and breeders beware of horses coming off Micheals farm, you may not get what you are paying for, but will pay in the end!!!
