This is one Company I really want to see go down. Today is the day before Thanksgiving, I am at the grocery store getting supplies for Thanksgiving Dinner, I reach check out only to see that my debit card is declined due to insufficient funds... I think to myself this is is a simple mistake... Off to the bank I go.
I get to the bank to find out that Direc tv has charged me $716.16 on my account 8 days after I made my monthly payment of $99.00, The bank helps me fill out dispute forms and tells me that I am way over drawn and that they are changing my card number and to not use my account for 10 days till this issue
is resolved. (So now I am completely broke for Thanksgiving)
I get home and my husband & I call Direc tv then we are told that they have no file of this transaction. They can not see where they charged me $716.16.. (what kind of joke is this) I then proceed to speak with a supervisor who is a complete idiot that can not figure it out either she then tells me it could be that someone has used my debit card to pay there bill and tells me to fax a copy of the bank dispute to them gives me the # then hangs up.
Bad customer service,
I have been with Company 5 years and can not seem to get out of its contract it is constantly getting reset Cause of their Junkie receivers
Now there will be no Thanksgiving Dinner for my family this year thanks to Direc tv.
And who knows what other repercussions will stem from this. Why is this company allowed to scam people? Its not fair, If you or I went and charged someone's credit or debit cards we would be prosecuted for it. Why have they not been.
