The owner, Rick Dufton, offered me only the minimal protection of 60 cents per pound with no explanation of other levels of liability available. Our furniture was damaged significantly in the move, as we documented and sent to Mr. Dufton. He has not responded. Also, he does not have an arbitration process in place in which a third party/neutral individual assesses the damages in a timely manner. Currently, we are living with damaged furniture, some not able to be repaired, but we do not want to fix or replace it yet, as Mr. Dufton has not activated his arbitration process (because he does not have one.) We have never been treated like this as consumers. Mr. Dufton has no regard for his customers.
