I paid for the services of Southern Star Moving Inc for a recent move. On the day of the move, it appeared that day laborers were recruited rather than experienced movers to perform the move. The movers damaged my furniture due to inexperience and impatience.
Mr Frederick Kimball, owner of Southern Star Moving Inc., inspected the damage and acknowledged liability and agreed to repair damages done to furniture but has failed to provide repair service. Mr Kimball promised to make things right but uses a technique of promising to do it and then never does.
After numerous calls over three months, I finally filed a Better Business Bureau complaint. Their reply was that Mr Kimball did not even give them the courtesy of a response. Don't be fooled by the smooth talk and false promises. This company is totally unprofessional.
