Hoffman movers
We hired Hoffmann Moving company to move some heavy furniture from one house to another. They sent 2 men, who arrived late, and were not knowledgeable about how to move furniture. Things were not wrapped properly and they moved everything on dollies. They would not lift furniture and in turn caused damaged to the floors due to the weight of the furniture on the dollies. Several pieces of furniture were damaged in the process. 3 months after the move a furniture repair person was sent out to fix our items. The repairs would not pass anyone's standards. The paint that was used to repair an armoire was not even close to matching. Corners that were chipped off an antique side board are still chipped, the stain that was used doesn't blend with the furniture. Also, a hinge on a china cabinet was bent during the move and when the repair person bent it back, it snapped and now all hinges on the piece need to be replaced. I had numerous conversations with the owner and he said he repaired it to the best of his abilities and that our file has been closed.
