After assessing the problem with our Maytag stove as needing a new heat sensor and computer, the All Brand technicians said they'd return in 4 days to fix the problem. We paid them $150.in cash for the service visit (5 minutes) plus wrote a check for $388 for the parts needed.
3 days later, we were told one part had to be ordered, so they'd be coming the "end" of the week instead of Tuesday.
After a couple of unsuccessful calls, they finally said they'd come on Friday between noon and 8pm.
No sign of them, and a call revealed that "the technician" was sick, they'd come Sat. Between 12 and 5pm. Sat. One man finally came at 5:30 with one part - not the computer! An annoyed call from me was met with "Don't get angry with me. I only work here. Call back on Monday."
Calls on Monday produced no results - the supervisor who was supposed to call back never did. When we asked for a refund we were told: "The service was performed, you'll get nothing back." The last time I called and tried to reason with someone, the woman I was speaking to hung up on me.
So we never received the promised service, the oven doesn't work, our money is not being rebated, and their telephone receptionist won't talk to us.
We made the mistake of using All Brand because they came quickly. Little did we know there was a reason why. We will never again use them, and will make sure the word spreads of their dishonesty and poor treatment.
