Beware of Service Agreements & Rotten Customer Service - service dept

Called a week ago Saturday to have my washer repaired under my service agreement. Told me the first appointment would be Friday between 8 -12 pm. Received the parts on Monday & Tuesday. First phone call came on Wed on my answering machine asking me to reschedule my appointment. I called the 800 service number left on the answering machine who had no idea why I received the call other than my parts weren't shipped yet. I informed them I already received the parts. They said they fixed the computer and my appointment was good for Friday. On Thursday I received the same phone message. Once again I was told my parts would not make it in time for the appointment which I again explained I had all the needed parts. I was told the service tech would be at my house the next morning. Friday I received a phone call at 9:40am telling me Sears had overbooked and call back to reschedule my appointment. Three more phone calls to customer service while being disconnected twice, they finally sent me to the escalation dept (Miranda). What a joke! I was told to reschedule for Monday. When I asked why I couldn't have a Saturday appointment I was told there were no openings. I told Miranda if you bumped me after having this appointment for a week because of overbooking then I should go to the top of the list for Saturday. She told me it doesn't work that way. When I explained i had already taken time off of work without pay for Friday's appointment and now I had to take off time again on Monday, I was told Sears doesn't reimburse for time off which I never asked for and they don't guarantee appointments. I explained the last time this washer took Sears one month to repair and four different shipments of parts, all damaged with no reimbursement for being with out a washer and now it was happening again. I also explained to Miranda that Sears took my money for a service contract up front and has yet to satisfy my needs. This woman was rude and unsympathetic. After hanging up with escalation I called the Sear's store where the washer was purchased. The appliance dept said they would help but this was at 1:30 in the afternoon and as of 9:21 PM I have yet to hear from them. I had promised myself I would never buy another Sears product after purchasing a new refrigerator and I had to have three delivered before getting one that wasn't scratched or dented. This time is the charm I will never do business with Sears again. Beware when buying a service agreement since customer service or repair appointments are not their strong suit. They take your money and give you nothing but grief.
