I really wish I had done an internet search for complaints or contacted the BBB before I did business with I Do Bouquets in Roanoke, Alabama. I purchased some pew bows for my wedding reception on their site www.idobouqets.com. It was late at night when I placed the order so I figured me not getting an answer when I called them before ordering was normal since they probably have normal business hours. I should have followed my first thought which was to wait until I talked to someone directly.instead, anxious to check that "to do" off my long list, I went ahead and ordered.
Right after ordering I sent them an email with my questions hoping to get a response the next day. That response never happened. I did get an automated response about my order which satisfied my uneasiness about the transaction for the present time.
After a couple of days had gone by and I had not received a response, I tried calling and got no answer and had no way to leave a voicemail. I began to worry at this point. Being that their website says 2 to 4 weeks to delivery during their "busy" season, I decided to wait it out. Well 2 weeks passed and no response and no product.
During the 3rd week I called several times and finally some picked up, but didn't say "I Do Bouquet", which I though was strange, but rather said "Hello". They said they remember that order and it was the next order they were going to work on and it should be shipped by the end of the week. Well a week and a half pass and still no product. I forgot to mention about 2 weeks after I ordered the money was finally taken out of my account.
I tried calling an emailing once more and no response. I did finally get someone to answer the phone (I blocked my number) and that person said that they thought that order had gone out already, but they would check. They asked me for my name and contact number and said they would call me. I never received a call back or my product.
Since then I have done a search on them on the internet and discovered that several other brides had similiar problems with them. I contacted the BBB and they said there were alot of other complaints filed against them, so I filed a complaint to. I just got a response back to them that the business has not responded to the complaint and they have not been able to get in contact with them &. They said that they would add my complaint to the "I Do Bouquets" file for consumers to have access to when they called.
I really wish me and the other brides that were ripped off could file a class action lawsuit or something. Though the amount of the purchased wasn't really big, all of the last minute scrambling I had to do to get the product that I had initially ordered from what I thought was a reputable company caused me a whole lot of distress and time.
Please do not order from them. I do not want another person to go through what i went through. Planning a wedding is stressful enough... Having to deal with a vendor ripping you off and having to find products at the last minute is tooooo much stress.
