We purchased a 1999 Saab 9-5 Wagon from Gebhardt Saab. They seemed nice and helpful at the time. Within one week, the car began to not start properly and later the check engine light came on.
We took it to Gebhardt, they diagnosed it and said our warranty did not cover what was wrong with it. We took it to another company to have it serviced and they advised us to take it back to Gebhardt, as something serious is wrong with it and they should not have sold us the car.
We talked to the general manager of Gebhardt Saab, who was extremely rude. They did take it in and service it and replaced a part with a used part and claimed it was fixed. One day later, the check engine light came back on again.
The 4th cylinder is misfiring, something that Gebhardt Saab's service department did not even diagnose properly when we took it there the first time.
They refuse to take responsibility for a car they sold knowing something was wrong with it.
